Seth Thomas, Plymouth Conn.,, 30-hour time & strike wooden-works pillar & scroll shelf clock, C.1825.
CONDITION:
Nicely refinished and restored case with repaired scroll tips and newer glasses retained with dark-stained putty. Original paper label dark, stained and torn but mostly present. Painted and gilt-gesso original wood dial in very good condition with slight fading and cracks. Movement complete but could use service. 3 later solid-brass finials. Ht.31" to finial tip.
